Fused is an independent magazine exploring the world through art, design, culture and travel.

Founded in the UK in 2000, Fused has spent more than two decades documenting the people, places and ideas shaping contemporary creative culture. From artists, designers and architecture to creative cities, cultural neighbourhoods and design-led hotels, our stories look beyond the obvious to find what makes a place or project interesting.

Our travel coverage is shaped by the same curiosity that has always driven Fused. We explore destinations through their art, architecture, food, design, music and local creative communities, alongside first-hand hotel reviews, cultural guides and stories from the people who know a place best.

26 years of independent publishing

Fused began as an independent print magazine in 2000 and has evolved across print, digital publishing, international travel journalism and creative collaborations.

Over the years we have worked with artists, cultural organisations, destinations, hotels, festivals and global creative events while maintaining the independent editorial approach that has shaped Fused from the beginning.

Alongside the magazine, Fused also develops bespoke publishing, editorial projects and cultural partnerships through Fused Studios.

Fused Travel Editions

Launched in 2024, Fused Travel Editions extends our approach to creative travel into a dedicated print and digital title.

Travel Editions brings together culturally rich destination stories, creative city guides, design-led stays and recommendations for travellers interested in experiencing a place through its culture rather than simply ticking off its landmarks.

How we work

Many of our travel stories, hotel reviews and cultural features are based on places we have visited and experienced first-hand.

Fused also works with tourism organisations, hotels, cultural institutions and brands on press trips, hosted stays and commercial partnerships. Where content has been produced as part of a paid partnership, this is clearly identified.

Editorial decisions remain our own and inclusion is never guaranteed simply because a trip, stay or experience has been hosted.

Who is behind Fused

Fused was founded by Kerry O’Coy and David O’Coy and continues to be independently published from the UK.

The magazine also works with contributing writers, photographers, artists and creative voices whose individual perspectives have been an important part of Fused throughout its history.
