HÏ IBIZA OPENS THE WORLD’S FIRST IN-CLUB ART GALLERY

Music meets pixels, murals and gummy bears, and the results are intoxicating

Ibiza has never been short on drama. But now, between the glitter cannons and sunrise DJ sets, something genuinely new has landed: the world’s first proper art gallery inside a nightclub.

HÏ IBIZA OPENS THE WORLD’S FIRST IN-CLUB ART GALLERY

Hï Ibiza – the island’s reigning superclub, voted number one globally four years in a row – has teamed up with London’s digital art disruptors W1 Curates to turn a night out into a full-blown cultural experience. Forget politely shuffling through a white-walled gallery; here, you’ll find Mr Cenz murals that breathe back at you via augmented reality, KidEight sculptures with hip-hop swagger, and WhIsBe’s six-foot gummy bear lording over the Tipi Garden like the world’s most decadent mascot.

On the rooftop, things get even wilder. The Dom Pérignon bar now hosts an LED-wrapped digital art space so vivid, so sharp, it almost feels illegal. Beeple, Mad Dog Jones, Ash Thorp, Annibale Siconolfi, Six N. Five, Shiro Fujioka – they’re all here, bathing the night in neon dreams, dystopian skylines and cinematic sci-fi worlds.

It’s Ibiza’s most audacious collision of music and art yet – and, like all the best nights, you’ll leave a little changed.

The Arrival

The experience begins at the club’s entrance, where Mr Cenz’s hypnotic mural greets you. His style – a graffiti dreamscape of otherworldly faces – feels made for Ibiza’s kinetic energy. But here’s the twist: scan it with the custom W1 Curates app and the work literally comes alive in augmented reality. Imagine street art that breathes back at you.

Sculptures with Attitude

Inside, KidEight’s sculptures sit like VIP guests who have no intention of leaving early. The artist’s background designing album covers for Gucci Mane, Fabolous, and 2Chainz gives his work a swagger that’s pure music culture. Out in the Tipi Garden, WhIsBe’s six-foot green gummy bear awaits – absurd, nostalgic, and entirely fabulous.

The Rooftop Revelation

Then, there’s the heart of it all: the rooftop Dom Pérignon bar’s in-club gallery. Using W1 Curates’ bespoke LED tech, screens become impossibly crisp, with black actually switching off to become real black – the kind of detail that makes you stop mid-sip of champagne. A mirrored ceiling doubles the dreamscape above your head, until you’re unsure whether you’re looking at art or are already inside it.

Artists rotate throughout the summer, but expect names that have shaped the digital art world: Beeple’s biting, hyper-detailed visions; Ash Thorp’s cinematic future-worlds (yes, he designed the Batmobile); Annibale Siconolfi’s vertiginous cityscapes; Mad Dog Jones’ lush cyberpunk jungles; and Six N. Five’s quietly surreal landscapes. There’s also Shiro Fujioka, bending sound, sci-fi and emotion into hypnotic visual worlds.

Beyond the Dancefloor

You’re encouraged to wander. To find canvases tucked into corners, sculptures glowing under soft light, prints placed like secret gifts. And should you fall in love – as many will – the works are for sale. This season’s collection includes WhIsBe gummy bears in varying sizes, original canvases from Mr Cenz, Evol Angel sculptures from KidEight, and a series of limited-edition prints. All exclusive. All here.

A Night Within a Night

For those who like their nightlife with a side of insider conversation, the Digital Art Meet-Up is an evening of talks and DJ sets featuring voices from W1 Curates, Seedphrase, Farokh, Trevor Jones and others, followed by a Seedphrase DJ set in the club’s Wild Corner. It’s part networking, part art history in the making, part “you really had to be there.”

Hï Ibiza’s gallery isn’t just a flex for the Instagram crowd (though your feed will thank you). It’s a rethinking of how we consume art – moving it off the polite white walls of the traditional gallery and into the places where people are already gathering, already euphoric, already open to connection. It’s bold, unapologetic, and as Ibiza as it gets.
