Our roomy 40sqm, 19th-floor, Club Premier Room had great views of the city skyline. The hotel has recently undergone refurbishments, elevating itself with new premier rooms and suites with modern interiors adorned with natural materials and pops of vibrant tangerine and teal. You’ll find everything you need from pod coffee machines, large comfy beds with crisp sheets, lounging day bed sofas, and large walk-in showers that come with lemon verbena-scented amenities.
Food and drink
Dining at Amari Bangkok is like going on a culinary adventure through local, European and Indian offerings. A highlight is to check the newly opened Thai restaurant which promises a: ‘Gastronautical journey through Thai waters’ with each dish telling a story of Thailand’s waters and the life they support.
The menu at ChomSindh pays homage to the bountiful Thai seascape and embodies the essence of genuine Thai hospitality feeling more reminiscent of a cherished local eatery than of being inside a towering hotel. The scent of Thai herbs and spices is prevalent as the kitchen grill sizzles with an invitation to savour the vibrant flavours the season brings.
The dedication to fresh, locally sourced produce means that the team just have to take the elevator up a few floors to the herb garden where wild betel leaves, holy basil and lemongrass are grown and hand-picked showcasing a commitment to reducing the impact of the restaurant and hotel’s carbon footprint while elevating the overall dining experience and helping everyone to partake in a journey towards a more sustainable future.
Once greeted (in exemplary Thai style) and seated you can watch the chefs with their fiery woks who are on full display in the centre of the restaurant as they prepare tantalising dishes right in front of guests. Served family share style the menus will take you on a journey through Thailand’s rich culinary heritage. The spicy Pomelo salad is the perfect start to get the tastebuds ready for what is to come and the crab curry and large river prawns are not to be missed from your order.

Nareekansaeng – The old-fashioned stir-fried Holy Basil with Prawns taken from the Andaman Sea and full of the spices that make up the rich depth of Thai culinary tradition.
The Crab Curry with betel leaves features crab sourced from an eco-friendly crab bank in Prachuap Khiri Khan.
The Seafood boiled rice includes rice selected from Bantonkhao in Amnat Charoen, renowned for its premium grains. The broth, a labour of love, is gently simmered for 48 hours and includes seafood sourced via community enterprises with a commitment to natural resource conservation.
The authentic flavours of Indian cuisine are also a more recent edition to the food offerings at Amari Bangkok and for a taste of Italian flair, you can head to Prego and savour a cocktail while soaking in the vibrant atmosphere of Bangkok’s busy Phetchaburi Road.

Exclusive to club access guests, the Club Siraa Lounge provides a tranquil space to relax and unwind. Whether enjoying a leisurely breakfast or sipping cocktails at sunset (we particularly enjoyed the rum-based dark and stormy and margarita), the lounge offers impeccable service and great city skyline views.
5 to 7 pm is a great time to head to the club lounge with well-crafted classic cocktails on offer as well as a great selection of small bites to enjoy. More than canapés; the pre-dinner selection is almost like dinner itself with small dishes of Thai Fishcakes, pork crunch salads, Italian-style tomato meatballs and the lightest of matcha cakes, as well as cheeses and different daily dishes to try.
Breakfast at the lounge is served a la carte – the Nasi Lemak was a big hit for us as were the omelettes and the poached eggs served with a mushroom and truffle sauce. There is also a sizeable buffet selection which means you can forego the business of the main food area for the relaxing atmosphere of the lounge.
Pool and fitness area
There’s a good range of amenities at the hotel including a state-of-the-art fitness centre on the 8th floor, a rejuvenating spa, and a quiet pool area with comfy day beds. It’s ideal to hang out here when the city temperature is oppressive, which is more often than not in Bangkok, so the ideal escape during the daylight hours.
