What are your top tips when it comes to buying lingerie?
Communication. If buying online get in touch with the retailer, ask advice, return anything you don’t love. On the high street find a store where you feel comfortable. We work with some amazing independents who can make you feel a million dollars. Think of it like your hairdresser, if you get a good one you look forward to going, you value their advice but ultimately, they ensure you leave with what you want.

Describe your brand in three words…
Contemporary, innovative, sensual.

How would you sum up the AR woman?
I met an amazing buyer who once told me that she plans her outfit around her lingerie. Adina Reay is for those of us with a full bust that would like to do the same.

Which is your go-to favourite everyday set and why?
I’ve never really got the concept of everyday lingerie. There is something empowering about wearing lingerie you love no matter what you are doing. The ‘Fran’ is a definite favourite, the ‘Fran short’ is super comfy but looks amazing. We spend as much time designing our briefs as we do on our bras, they have to be comfortable. There is no point in having great looking lingerie if you don’t enjoy wearing it.

What’s your 5-year plan?
Capsule swimwear and outerwear collections and to build a small but far-reaching network of independent retailers to work alongside.

Shop the collection at Adinareay.com, Net-a-Porter, Harvey Nichols, Bare Necessities, Journelle and a number of independent stores worldwide.
