THE ALTERNATIVE PUB PASSPORT

New creative agency BND have produced the Alternative Pub Passport, a humorous illustrated pull-out to keep you entertained as pubs re-open indoors this week.

The campaign features a double-sided A3 illustration that folds into a passport-sized parody hosting an array of activities. Complete with an ID page, conversation starters for the ‘chronically isolated’ and a pub quiz for those looking to exercise their lockdown skills.

Being distributed to taprooms around the country and with prints or a free download available; the campaign encourages pub-goers to get involved on social media and support their local.

Studio BND Creative Director, Alex Malaki said,

“The pub is a beautiful thing and much more than just the drinks! It’s about people and the community it brings together. It’s been a tough year for the pubs and the staff. We wanted to do something that shows some appreciation. Also, people have had to be pretty serious this last year, but now there’s some hope in sight, we want to help reinject some fun & humour into the world.”

This project forms part of a launch for the studio, which is a new Creative Agency formed out of covid that specialises in campaigns. The project comes as Pubs reopen their doors and Studio BND urges drinkers to “Get stuck in, you deserve it! But remember your tolerances are probably down, so drink responsibly!! (Don’t be THAT person). Cheers to that! Also… get vaccinated!”
